Job Opportunity

We are seeking a senior software engineer to lead our DevOps team in designing, building, and supporting new DevOps pipelines, templates, tools, and services.

This role plays a key part in advancing our cloud orchestration capabilities and delivering fit-for-purpose, scalable, and operationally ready solutions to support platform consumers and dependent orchestrations.

  • A strong background in development and/or DevOps, with expertise in Azure and/or AWS.
  • Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines at enterprise scale, including continuous integration and delivery.
  • Familiarity with Linux (RHEL) and Windows operating systems administration, databases, and networking.
  • Skilled in Chef development, including cookbooks, data bags, policy files, and InSpec.
  • Provable experience with delivering solutions using Ruby or Python.
  • Hands-on experience leading design and development of infrastructure and application deployment.
  • Cloud solution development and production deployment experience via automated pipelines.
  • Orchestration via cloud platform APIs, as well as IaC tooling such as Terraform and HashiCorp tools stack.
  • DevOps pipeline and test automation framework integration.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders, while also able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build new DevOps pipelines, templates, tools, and services.
  • Lead the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver fit-for-purpose, scalable, and operationally ready solutions.
  • Mentor and support engineering team members to enhance their development capabilities.
  • Continuously improve processes within their scope of responsibility.
