Job Description:

We're seeking a skilled software professional to lead our platform engineering team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for re-architecting our platform to run seamlessly across public, private, and hybrid clouds.

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in designing, building, and architecting software in an enterprise environment. They should be well-versed in at least one programming language and comfortable working with object-oriented programming concepts.

The successful candidate will also be able to leverage their knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to write software in a cloud infrastructure environment. Experience with AWS services like EKS, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, VPC networking, and S3 (or equivalent cloud provider experience) is highly desirable.

Some of the tools and resources available to the selected candidate include dedicated learning time, opportunities for growth and leadership, engineering independence, and annual hackathons.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience designing, building, and architecting software in an enterprise environment
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language
  • Experience driving projects to impact
  • Working knowledge of Linux and cloud infrastructure environments
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
