About the Role

Hicksons Lawyers is seeking a skilled Senior Associate to join our Medical Negligence and HSA team in NSW. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal advice on a broad range of matters, from straightforward to highly contentious, including nervous shock claims, breaches of consumer laws, and actions against healthcare practitioners.

Our clients include public and private hospitals, medical practitioners, allied healthcare professionals, health services, and health and aged care facilities. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advice to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice on defendant case matters, including nervous shock claims, breaches of consumer laws, and actions against healthcare practitioners
  • Manage and/or assist a portfolio of claims, handling large volumes of documents and providing clear advice within deadlines
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored advice to achieve their goals
  • Contribute to the development of our team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive results
