Hotel Sales Leadership Role

This is a vital business partnership opportunity with the General Manager, as an integral member of the hotel leadership team.

The Director of Sales is crucial in driving the hotel's financial success through expertise in revenue optimization, business development, forecasting and marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to maximise short and long-term revenue
  • Managing departmental finances to ensure alignment with the hotel's goals
  • Setting pricing strategies and managing inventory to achieve optimal occupancy and average daily rates
  • Delivering strategic insights and regular reporting on revenue performance using advanced analytics
  • Leading and motivating a high-performing commercial team

This role requires a senior Sales and Marketing professional with experience in the international luxury sector.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar senior leadership position managing a multi-disciplinary commercial team
  • Superior knowledge and demonstrated hands-on experience in managing, influencing and driving Revenue in the luxury hotel sector
  • Excellent communication, writing, financial and analytical skills
  • Public speaking and confident facilitation skills
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency, with full work rights in Australia
