Supporting Sport and Recreation at St John Paul College

This role is ideal for a young adult who has a strong interest in supporting sport, recreation, and fitness at St John Paul College.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Leader of PDHPE and the Leader of Sport to provide opportunities for students at the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in providing an array of opportunities for students at the school
  • To work closely with the Leaders of PDHPE and Sport
  • To attend sporting trips and complete training courses required to successfully fulfill the role

Requirements:

  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An active and visible member of the Catholic Church community
  • Commitment to the Catholic Community's ethics, values, and standards
  • Self-motivation, organisation, creativity, trustworthiness, commitment, and ability to motivate youth
  • Excellent communication skills and personal initiative
  • Ability to recognise and maintain confidentiality
  • Enrolled in a Certificate III in Sport and Recreation

Application Requirements:

  • A personal resume
  • Details of any sporting and fitness interests and experiences in coaching and organising sport
  • Three referees

This is a 12-month position for the academic year. The successful applicant will be expected to be enrolled in a Certificate III in Sport and Recreation.
