Job Overview

The Chief Financial Officer is accountable for leading ASIC's Finance function, providing strategic advice on complex financial matters and driving long-term financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice on complex financial matters to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Drive long-term financial strategy and support groups across the business.
  • Oversee financial operations, including unclaimed money responsibilities and statutory financial reporting.
  • Prepare consolidated year-end financial statements and work papers.
  • Develop and implement ASIC's annual financial plan.

Promote a high-performance culture, drive financial compliance, and partner with senior leaders to achieve business outcomes.

About You

To be successful, you will have considerable experience in managing large teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. A proven track record operating at a senior executive level, with experience managing complex finance functions within the public sector, is essential.
