  • Customer-Focused Innovation: Collaborate with utilities and distribution partners to adapt, localize, and enhance smart metering and telecommunications solutions.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee existing and new products, ensuring commercial and technical alignment.
  • Influencing Decision-Making: Build relationships with procurement teams, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Background Experience: Metering, utilities, or related product vendors (e.g., EDMI, Itron).
  • Business Acumen: Strong instincts, ideally from a private enterprise. Develop business cases and support pricing/contract strategy.
  • Technical Skills: Experience working with technical products, especially telecoms, electrical, or software-based systems.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Navigate industry regulations, sustainability requirements, and government-driven projects.
  • Soft Skills: Tenacious, proactive, entrepreneurial. Influence demanding customers and manage change in dynamic environments.
  • Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science.
  • Project Management Background: Particularly R&D or technical product delivery is advantageous.
