About the Role

The Cloud Engineer ensures our IT infrastructure meets the highest standards of availability, stability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, operate, automate, migrate, and scale software systems across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Apply expertise in security, networking, operating systems, and SRE.
  • Use automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD to solve complex challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, working with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Champion the adoption of cloud and DevOps practices across our organization.
  • Work in an agile environment, exploring new technologies through proof-of-concepts.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in Windows and Linux OS systems.
  • Experience in cloud/datacentre hybrid environments.
  • Strong experience in AWS/Azure cloud platform services and networking.
  • Provision and configure cloud-based resources to manage complex application environments.
  • Experience in application migration to the Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
  • Experienced with DevOps practices, specifically CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Experience in initial setup activities, including infrastructure, connectivity, security policies, configuration management, and DevOps.
  • Knowledge of security and IAM (Identity and Access Management).
  • Skills to implement and manage orchestration tools and automation of the full technical stack.
  • Fluent in Python, PowerShell, Bash.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, planning, and ability to exercise judgement to make decisions.
  • Outcome focused, with strong emphasis on delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
