Job Title: Research Associate

Support research services and develop novel research in a Population Child Health research group. This role involves providing statistical and epidemiological support for intervention-based studies and grant applications, conducting research activities including surveys, literature reviews, data collection and recording results using appropriate research methods.

  • Disseminate research outcomes through conferences and workshops.
  • Conduct research with minimal supervision, managing priorities and demonstrating attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • PhD in Epidemiology/Statistics or equivalent level of expertise gained from experience, training and/or professional accreditation.
  • Competency in R, SAS and/or Stata, and previous experience working with large sets of data.
  • Experience working in trial design and evaluation is beneficial.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
