Payroll Specialist Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized payroll professional to join our organization on a part-time basis.
About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced payroll specialist to contribute to the smooth operation of our payroll system.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time for approximately 250 employees across various awards.
- Manage multiple pay cycles, including two weekly and three fortnightly cycles.
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation, awards, and company policies to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the payroll system (ELMO).
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a timely manner.
- Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and audits as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of award interpretation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple pay cycles effectively.
- Experience using ELMO payroll software or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and awards.
