Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality house cleaning services to private domestic clients, Aged Care, and DVA clients.

  • This is a casual opportunity with flexible working hours, allowing you to choose your days and hours to work.
  • You will have the opportunity to perform various tasks such as spring and deep cleans, window cleaning, and no bond or builder cleans.
  • We provide all necessary equipment and chemicals, as well as paid courses and certifications to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience is preferred but training will be supplied.
  • You must have your own reliable car (not shared with a partner).
  • Be neat and tidy in appearance and have a friendly personality and great attitude.
  • Like animals as we work around a lot of dogs.
  • Be fit with no back or neck injuries or health issues.
  • Have high attention to detail and commonsense.
  • Great communication and fluent English are required.
  • Be willing to travel short distances between jobs.
  • Hold a police check or be willing to obtain one.

  • Job Type: Casual
  • Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
  • Schedule:
    • Fixed shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • No weekends

Qualifications

  • Cleaning experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • Language: English (required)
  • Licence/Certification:
    • National Police Certificate (preferred)
    • Driver Licence (required)
  • Work Authorisation:
    • Australia (required)
