This role presents a unique chance to work as a Mental Health Clinician, providing support to Aboriginal people and communities.
- Assertive outreach is key in engaging and supporting consumers.
- The position involves assessment and planning of specialist clinical interventions, including support during crises through to recovery planning.
- Collaboration with healthcare staff to ensure provision of high-quality and culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal patients and their families is crucial.
- Working within a multidisciplinary team and with community-based organisations requires effective communication and coordination skills.
- Ongoing treatment for consumers of the team will be coordinated by the successful candidate.
