Leadership Role in Speech Pathology

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality clinical services. As a Discipline Area Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that your team is trained, supported, and held accountable to performance expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement strategies to enhance a positive work culture. They will also be able to maintain a clinical caseload and develop individual clinician career development plans to support clinical growth and caseload development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive accountability to performance metrics, clinical policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and champion strategies to enhance a positive work culture, fostering teamwork and well-being.
  • Maintain a clinical caseload and develop individual clinician career development plans.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years clinical experience in Speech Pathology.
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Current SPA membership.
  • Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.
  • Current Working with Children or willingness to apply for a one-off check.
  • NDIS Worker Check.
  • Satisfactory Police Check.
  • Current Medicare Provider Number or capacity to obtain.
