A leading manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to oversee mechanical design and development, lead critical projects, provide technical direction, and collaborate with multiple departments to support new product development, research efforts, and proposal activities.

This role involves:

  • Leading project execution and communicating progress and risks to senior leadership.">
  • Ensuring designs meet safety, quality, and manufacturability standards.">
  • Managing multiple product lines across various mechanical disciplines.">
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, testing, supply chain, and quality.">
  • Handling team resource planning, recruitment, training, and development.">
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to support market success.">
  • Identifying technology gaps and developing innovation roadmaps.">
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and adherence to best practices.">
  • Travel may be required domestically and internationally (approx. quarterly).">

Qualifications for this role include:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.">
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in product design and manufacturing.">
  • At least 2 years managing engineering teams.">
  • Strong leadership, communication, and technical problem-solving skills.">
  • Proficient in GD&T and core mechanical engineering principles.">
