Financial Accounting Specialist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Specialist to join our group reporting team. This role will provide critical support in preparing half-year and annual statutory accounts, including project managing and coordinating the group audit process.
The successful candidate will have advanced experience in foreign operations and multi-currency consolidation, as well as strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Accounting Standards (AASB's).
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of half-year and annual statutory accounts, including project managing and coordinating the group audit process;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting;
- Support the Finance Manager in providing financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
- Advanced degree in accounting or finance;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting;
- Strong technical skills, including MS Office and ERP systems;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A competitive salary package, estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience;
