Located in the stunning Whitsundays, Australia's premier island resort offers a unique opportunity for an experienced childcare leader to join our team.

About You

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, who can guide and motivate staff members to perform at their best and foster a positive work environment. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educational Leadership: Develop and implement curriculum aligned with early childhood education principles and the National Quality Framework.
  • Compliance and Administration: Ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and efficient administration of centre operations.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, fee processing, and financial reporting in collaboration with our dedicated Accounts team.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and support educators, fostering their professional growth and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
  • Facility Management: Maintain facilities to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with families, stakeholders, and local authorities to enhance our centre's community presence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (Preferred) OR Diploma or Advanced Diploma in an area of study applying to childcare workers under the NQF (Essential).
  • Blue Card (Essential)
  • Current First Aid HLTAID012 Certification (Essential)

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
