Job Title: Community Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and nurturing individual to provide support for clients across the Gold Coast, QLD, on a casual or part-time basis.

This role involves accompanying clients during daily activities, running errands and going on outings, as well as food preparation and shopping.

You will also be responsible for assisting in personal care and hygiene, such as showering and dressing, performing household tasks like cleaning, washing and folding clothes, and providing social interaction and companionship.

Additionally, you will transport clients to appointments, ensuring they receive the support they need to live independently.

A Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification is essential, along with previous experience in aged care or disability of at least one year.

An NDIS clearance is necessary, as well as a COVID-19 Vaccination and a Current Police Check. A Current First Aid Certificate including CPR is also required.

A reliable car and relevant insurances are essential for this role, and a Dementia care qualification is desirable.
