We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our dynamic Kitchen Team at Q Station, located in the heart of Sydney Harbour National Park - Manly. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work in a premium dining environment and contribute to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

As a Culinary Expert, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes across à la carte service at our iconic waterfront restaurant, Boilerhouse. You will support daily kitchen operations while upholding the highest standards in food safety and hygiene.

This role requires collaboration with the broader Q Station team to create exceptional dining experiences. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in the preparation and service of food
  • Maintaining the quality of the product served, ensuring that high standards are consistently met
  • Complying with HACCP regulations to ensure the hygienic and safe preparation of food
  • Displaying genuine passion for cuisine and contributing to menu planning and development
  • Effective communication with a large and diverse team

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume à la carte premium dining restaurant or venue. A formal qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or above) is also required. Additionally, excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of personal integrity, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

In exchange for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
