The Role

As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of property services, including repairs and maintenance, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the building, grounds and equipment as outlined in the Maintenance Schedules.
  2. Ensure the physical environment meets the needs and preferences of residents, and maintain a neat, comfortable, safe and hazard-free space.
  3. Carry out landscaping and garden maintenance, general repairs and waste removal.
  4. Oversee, maintain, assess and recommend replacement of assets as required.
  5. Assist in the management of Property Services projects.
  6. Comply with Work Health and Safety and Property Services Quality Assurance procedures.

Requirements

  • Formal qualifications or relevant skills training/experience.
    - Relevant experience in property maintenance and building works
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Experience in Occupational Health and Safety
    - Ability to solve problems independently
