This opportunity exists within our Central Maintenance Team for a Mechanical Work Delivery Coordinator. Become a valuable asset to the team that's shaping the future of aluminium, revolutionizing the way the world lives, builds, moves and flies.

About The Role

The Work Delivery Coordinator coordinates the performance of all aspects of maintenance work in a defined geographical area or functional/technical group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating site-wide delivery of corrective and planned maintenance activities allocated through the eAM system, in conjunction with the maintenance supervision team.
  • Directly coordinating multiple work packages being delivered across site.

Work Delivery Coordinators ensure nominated work is safely handed over, executed and handed back to service to quality required.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful, you will have:

  • Mechanical - Fitter qualifications.
  • Advanced skills and knowledge necessary to isolate, diagnose, analyse and rectify complex equipment-related problems.
  • Experience in PLC systems and motor control would be beneficial.
  • Problem-solving, good communication and interpersonal skills to provide technical advice and direction to others.
  • High levels of initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About Our Location

We operate at Portland Aluminium, producing approximately 19 per cent of Australia's total aluminium production.
