Strategic Engagement Leader

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Strategic Direction and Technical Leadership: Develop a communication strategy for the Office and prepare advice on emerging stakeholder issues, ensuring effective engagement techniques and practices are implemented.
  • Community of Practice Development: Lead the creation of a Community of Practice related to Child Safe Standards across the Tasmanian community, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with government and non-government stakeholders on child-related organizations compliance, promoting transparency and accountability.
  • Education and Presentations: Oversee education activities and presentations on the operations of the Office, enhancing public understanding and awareness.
  • Performance Evaluation: Develop measures to evaluate the effectiveness of stakeholder engagement activities, informing strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in strategic engagement and technical leadership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective engagement strategies
  • Knowledge of child-related organizations compliance and regulations
  • Excellent presentation and education skills
