We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English teacher to join our educational team.

The successful applicant will deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school English curriculum from years 7 to 12, building upon their knowledge and experience in teaching literacy skills and developing students' critical thinking abilities.

  • Deliver high-quality lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting academic excellence and fostering a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve student results and create supportive and safe learning environments, leveraging their expertise in educational planning and policy implementation.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and the wider community, ensuring a culture of respect and inclusivity within the school.

This role involves working closely with the Head of Learning Area (HOLA) and the English team to plan and implement effective teaching and learning strategies, as well as contributing to the development of the school's educational programs and policies.

Requirements
  • Holding an eligible teaching qualification and registration, along with a strong understanding of curriculum design and assessment methodologies.
  • Being an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or having a valid visa with relevant work rights, ensuring compliance with national education regulations.
  • Applying for a Working with Children Check and obtaining a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the relevant authorities, guaranteeing student safety and well-being.
