About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Ability Plus Disability Services. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide manual handling support, including hoisting and transferring
  • Accompany clients on community outings and activities
  • Assist with domestic services, such as meal preparation and household chores
Requirements
  • Current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Working with Children's Check (Employer)
  • Related qualifications, such as a Certificate in Disability or Aged Care
  • Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
