Risk Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to play a key role in strengthening our compliance capabilities within the first line of defence.
This role is essential in promoting a proactive compliance culture, identifying and mitigating regulatory risks, and ensuring adherence to internal standards and external obligations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory risk, ideally gained within financial services, and bring a solid understanding of APRA, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies.
The successful candidate will be confident in using compliance monitoring tools and systems, and will be able to simplify complex regulatory requirements.
They will be a clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills, capable of influencing across all levels of the organisation.
This is an initial 24 month contract with the potential view to extension.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as AACI or ACI 10980NAT
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks
