Health and Wellness Coordinator Position

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Health and Wellness Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and assisting in the coordination of company-wide health strategies and initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health programs that promote physical and mental well-being among residents
  • Coordinate lifestyle events and activities that foster community engagement and social interaction
  • Maintain and improve sporting, leisure, and recreational facilities on site
  • Conduct health assessments and gym inductions for residents
  • Lead fitness classes and workshops that cater to diverse interests and age groups
  • Provide educational seminars and workshops on health and wellness topics

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Fitness or Diploma of Sport and Recreation
  • Six (6) months experience working in a fitness facility or similar position
  • Australian drivers licence
  • Federal Police Clearance
  • Covid vaccination certification

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Safe Pool Operations qualifications
  • Bachelor of Human Movement, Physical Education, Exercise Science/Physiology, Nutrition
  • Events co-ordination and health promotion background
  • Group fitness qualifications
  • Physical education teaching experience (primary or secondary school)
