Waste Management Specialist

Job Overview:
The Resource Recovery Contract & Service Delivery Officer plays a pivotal role in managing waste contracts, driving strategic project delivery, and providing high-level administrative support to ensure seamless operations.
Key responsibilities include coordinating contract management, supporting daily facility operations, data analysis, and fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Continuous process improvements are also essential in this position.
To excel in this role, the successful applicant will possess a minimum Certificate IV in Business, Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage waste contracts efficiently
- Support strategic project delivery
- Provide high-level administrative support
- Coordinate daily facility operations
- Analyze data to inform decisions
- Foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a strong understanding of business administration principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a certificate in business or a related field and/or relevant professional experience in a similar role.
A passion for sustainability, waste management, and continuous improvement is also highly desirable.
