Caregiver for Individuals with Disabilities

We are seeking compassionate and motivated professionals to provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will work closely with clients, their families, and other care professionals to ensure the delivery of respectful and effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility support.
- Facilitate community participation and engagement by supporting clients in accessing social, recreational, and educational activities.
- Assist clients in developing and maintaining independence through skill-building and training programs.
- Implement individualized support plans and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and document client progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that respects the rights and dignity of all clients.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other care professionals to provide holistic and effective support.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of clients.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
- NDIS worker screening

- Competitive hourly rate: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
