Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and defining business needs, gathering requirements, and transforming them into actionable plans that drive the development of innovative software, processes, and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and defining business requirements, conducting research and analysis as required
  • Analysing current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
  • Working with stakeholders to prioritise requirements and identify critical path items
  • Development of as-is and to-be process maps relating to the superannuation and managed funds business
  • Analysing workflow to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement
  • Managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality and user friendliness of system enhancement/development in conjunction with the business and the project team
  • Working as a crucial component of a project team responsible for enhancing existing business process/systems or developing new systems and processes
  • Serving as a liaison between business users and development teams, translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
About You

You're an adept Business Analyst with experience in financial services looking to work in a highly talented and collaborative PMO. In addition to strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, are highly proficient in gathering requirements and writing documents and specifications with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years Business Analyst experience in similar roles, preferably in financial services
  • 3+ years Superannuation and investments experience
  • Strong technical specification writing/documentation skills including requirements gathering
  • Sound knowledge of the challenges and regulations impacting the superannuation environment
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools and software
  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s)
