Job Opportunity:

This is a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated individual to take on the role of Apprentice Chef. As a member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for developing into a skilled, efficient, safe, and hygienic chef.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by anticipating and attending to their needs promptly.
  • Attend required culinary courses to enhance your knowledge and skills.
  • Work in the kitchen as directed on a daily basis, maintaining a clean and safe working area.
  • Ensure that tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate fully in all training provided by senior members of the kitchen staff.
  • Maintain minimal wastage at all times.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures at all times.
  • Contribute to creating a culture of learning and professionalism within the team.
  • Carry out any other related duties as directed by senior members of the kitchen staff.
  • Maintain personal appearance in accordance with hotel grooming standards.
  • Develop and maintain harmonious relationships with other members of the service team.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of knowledge regarding food products.
  • Comply with all hotel operational policies and procedures.
  • Have a thorough understanding and practice all occupational health and safety guidelines (WHS).
