About Kirinari Community Services

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Kirinari Community Services, a well-recognised and rapidly expanding support service.

As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in overseeing the implementation of individualised supports within supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes). You will enhance the knowledge and abilities of our Support Worker team, ensuring a person-centered and high-quality culture within the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to customers and lead your team across a range of customer needs.
  • Assist customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.
  • Operate an allotted SIL unit with administrative functions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Disability Support Workers to support and develop skill capacity.

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to work across operating hours.
  • Resilience, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships.
  • Previous experience using hoist.
  • Ability to take clients swimming and participate in swimming activities.
