Substation Design Professional

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to work in substation design. The ideal candidate will have experience in utility substation design and possess strong technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform detailed electrical design of medium to extra high voltage utility substations, including single-line diagrams, equipment selection, protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, material lists, conduit and cable sizing/routing, AC and DC systems calculations and sizing, and engineering documentation.
- Work with CAD designers/drafters to develop drawing packages.
- Coordinate designs with other disciplines such as structural, civil and mechanical engineers.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs.
- Contribute to project planning and scheduling.
- BSEE or BSEET from an accredited university, preferably with a power option.
- Understanding of substation equipment and its function.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Candidate must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S.
