Electrical Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Protection & Control Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex electrical utility substation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed P&C designs for medium to extra high voltage utility substations, including one-line diagrams, P&C equipment selection, protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, material lists, conduit and cable sizing/routing, AC and DC systems calculations and sizing, and engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate with CAD designers/drafters to develop drawing packages.
  • Coordinate designs with other disciplines such as Substation Physical, Structural, and Civil.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs.
  • Contribute to proposal development and project scheduling and management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Understanding of substation equipment and its function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong English language skills with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and client personnel.
  • Licence to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.
