Regulatory Compliance Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our compliance function for a fixed-term period of six months.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business verticals and marketing teams to ensure understanding of their compliance obligations and maintain up-to-date obligation registers, including controls to manage regulatory requirements.
- If gaps exist, develop or refine and implement controls to meet those obligations, including policies, systems, and processes.
- E nsure all control owners are identified and current.
- Work as part of the team to design and implement a control testing framework to ensure controls are effective and operating as intended.
- Extensive experience in compliance or risk within financial services, insurance, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to develop and implement compliance policies, controls, and risk frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive accountability.
- Experience in designing and implementing compliance monitoring and control testing frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
