Compliance Specialist Job Description

Are you a dedicated professional seeking a challenging role in regulatory compliance? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team.


As a key member of our Risk Centre of Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance framework across our organisation. Your expertise will be invaluable in collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective management of risks and adherence to regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of a fit-for-purpose Compliance Framework
  • Collaborate closely with Risk and Compliance teams to uplift compliance maturity
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance compliance awareness and understanding

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in regulatory or compliance roles within financial services
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations (e.g. SIS Act & Regulations, Corporations Act & Regulations)
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tertiary qualification graduate or postgraduate in a relevant discipline
