About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Equipment Project Manager to join our team at Danaher. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-value equipment engineering projects to key sites across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large-scale equipment engineering projects, working with 3rd-party vendors to manage the full equipment lifecycle.
  • Provide engineering support to facilities and manufacturing teams, and provide technical guidance to the broader engineering team.
  • Enable continuous improvement of production and output with ownership of associated projects, including relevant documentation updates.
  • Work with operations and engineering teams on new equipment design and be the link engineer to external 3rd-party equipment builders.
  • Utilize problem-solving processes to troubleshoot new products, processes, and equipment, working closely with cross-functional teams and/or external vendors.
  • Develop and use visual project management and daily management boards to drive standard work and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Be an influential team member, fully motivated to achieve and demonstrate best practices in line with the department and site objectives, and communicate effectively and clearly on equipment and process issues, focusing on root cause, status updates, and countermeasures.
Requirements
  • Degree (Level 8) in Engineering or a related discipline with 9+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong equipment engineering experience.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in an engineering role with a focus on projects.
  • Lean/Continuous Improvement experience, such as Kaizen, PSP, etc.
  • Ability to exercise judgment when interpreting company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in different cultural settings.
