About the Position

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to work in mechanical maintenance and be part of our team.

You will collaborate closely with operations personnel to ensure efficient plant operation, minimal downtime, and waste reduction.

  • Guarantee equipment reliability and optimal performance
  • Evaluate and prioritize breakdown service requirements
  • Comply with Work Health Safety Management Systems procedures
  • Show initiative and promote teamwork
  • Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability
Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a mechanical trade qualification and relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. You should have the ability to weld and perform minor fabrication work, as well as carry out planned and preventative maintenance on equipment.

  • Troubleshoot problems and provide reactive support
  • Prioritize Workplace Health and Safety
  • Effective communication, focusing on quality and efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Mechanical trade qualification
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to weld and perform minor fabrication work
  • Capability to carry out planned and preventative maintenance

Please note that this role involves working 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week, with potential overtime required on weekends and weekdays as needed.
