Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Carrington port in Newcastle. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various mechanical systems and equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and is passionate about delivering high-quality results.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade certificate in mechanical, fitting and turning, boiler maker or similar
  • Proven fault-finding capabilities; proactive and safety-focused
  • Computer literate, self-motivated and reliable with strong time management and communication skills

In addition, we require the ability to work at heights and within confined spaces. While qualifications for these tasks are preferred, they are not essential.
