Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on air-powered machinery, diesel generators, and air compressors.
- Oversee the commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with operational standards and client specifications.
- Identify and rectify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems efficiently.
- Offer technical assistance and training to clients regarding equipment operation and upkeep.
- Keep thorough service records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the service team to enhance service procedures and customer satisfaction.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies consistently.
- Travel to client locations as necessary.
About You:
- Trade qualification in a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience as a Field Service Technician or in a comparable position, ideally within the industrial or mechanical domain.
- In-depth knowledge of air-powered machinery, diesel generators, and air compressors.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
- Self-motivated with effective time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver's license and readiness to travel.
