About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at Helping Hand. As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring they live with dignity, choice, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality personal care services to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Support residents to maintain their independence and autonomy, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals, including nurses, allied health, and hotel services, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in aged care.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6-12 months experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support.
  • Valid NDIS worker screening check or willingness to obtain.
