Student Engagement Officer

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a range of activities, events and programs that improve student engagement within university life.

  • Plan and implement a calendar of events for students during the academic year;
  • Contribute to the promotion of university services through various marketing initiatives;
  • Network and engage with stakeholders to provide opportunities for students;
  • Provide support and guidance to student clubs and societies.

Key qualifications include organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and give attention to detail, as well as experience in planning large events and engagement activities.

This role requires a commitment to work flexible hours throughout the calendar year. All University positions delivering education and/or services to children must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

About You

Applicants should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, staff and external partners. A demonstrated understanding of marketing, promotion and communication about events and activities is essential.
