Embedded Security Specialist for High-Stakes Environments

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled professional with expertise in hardware and embedded security to provide security assurance for our range of products. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting sophisticated security assessments at hardware, firmware, and application layers, as well as championing secure development practices to increase velocity. They should also be familiar with common hardware attacks and defense mechanisms.
Responsibilities and Duties- Continuously improve the level of security assurance provided to our products
- Ensure products and software meet high security, privacy, and compliance standards
- Conduct targeted and end-to-end security assessments
- Support developer productivity by prioritizing tooling that reduces Toil and improves Developer Experience
- Promote continuous learning and improvement within the team
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and solve cross-product problems
- Establish partnerships and champion quality throughout the Embedded teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience working in prior hardware security roles
- Minimum 5 years' experience in related roles, including Security Engineer, Reverse Engineer, and Penetration Tester
- Proficiency in using hardware hacking tools, such as JTAG debuggers and chip programmers
- Familiarity with IoT security principles, common vulnerabilities, and firmware analysis
