Job Role:

Compliance Professional

Supporting a Compliance and Ethics Programme, multiple opportunities have arisen to support various assets and offices on a full-time basis.

  • Understanding and interest in Anti-Corruption legal frameworks and programs are essential.
  • Day-to-day Know Your Counterparty (KYC) screening requests from business units require management.
  • Third Party Due Diligence (TPDD) screening requests also need to be managed.
  • A risk-focused screening assessment must be conducted on each new counterparty (KYC) and third party engagement (TPDD).
  • Risks related to corruption, fraud, conflicts of interest, money laundering, sanctions, market conduct, and anti-trust must be identified and investigated.
  • The ongoing identification of in-scope third parties due for KYC or TPDD renewal screening is crucial in accordance with Regional Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ad-hoc support may be required for the Regional Compliance Manager, Compliance Officer, and Compliance Coordinators.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • An eye for risk identification, critical thinking, and problem-solving is necessary.
  • Initiative-taking and effective time management skills are also required.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Formal tertiary education qualifications in law, accounting, business, or other areas are preferred.
  • Backgrounds in know your customer/counterparty due diligence investigations and corporate structures are highly desirable.
  • Experience in compliance-driven administrative positions, such as AP, payroll, anti-bribery and corruption compliance, legal compliance, HSEC, etc., is beneficial.
