Job Title: Support Assistant

We are seeking a Support Assistant to join our team, providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities.

About the Role

This is a flexible role that requires you to work on a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday. You will be responsible for providing support to improve independence by assisting with living skills, transport, social activities, medication, and personal care.

You will also be required to keep customer records up to date using online systems, develop and maintain professional relationships with people, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders, and assist in the development or implementation of care plans.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need an appropriate certificate level qualification in Disability or Community Services/individual support or equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry.

You must also have a valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with the ability to drive vehicles in licence class, including large cars and vans, and be fit to undertake the physical requirements of customer support, including the capacity to lift 10 kilograms unassisted.
