Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team based out of Gunnedah on a 5/2 roster. This role will involve traveling between multiple customer sites to support our customers and ensure the reliability of our machinery.

In this position, you will be part of our Gunnedah Workshop and report to the Service Coordinator. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing diagnostic evaluations and mechanical maintenance services and upgrades on a range of construction machinery;
  • Attending to production breakdowns and undertaking diagnostic work;
  • Liaising with technical support staff to achieve efficient outcomes and assist in product improvements;
  • Completing and submitting relevant documentation and reporting paperwork;
  • Maintaining good working relationships with customers, peers, and other departments;
  • Identifying continuous improvements within your area of responsibility.

To be successful, you will need:

  • A relevant trade certificate;
  • Intermediate PC skills and the ability to analyze technical data and reports;
  • Good communication skills;
  • A safety focus and adherence to site safety processes;
  • Strong adaptability to different teams, rosters, environments, and workloads;
  • 100% customer satisfaction with internal and external stakeholders, branches, and suppliers within the HCA family.
