Mobile Equipment Maintenance Technician">

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team of field-based maintenance professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and collaborating with a supportive team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining mobile equipment, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector. Experience with CAT and Hitachi machinery is highly desirable. In addition to technical skills, we are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on a range of mobile equipment, including CAT and Hitachi machinery
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safe working practices, risk management, and hazard reporting
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and site staff to achieve maintenance objectives
  • Perform breakdown activities efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualification (e.g., certificate III in mechanical engineering) and post-trade hydraulic ticket advantageous
  • Experience in mining or heavy industry maintaining mobile equipment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • High-risk work licenses (e.g., EWP, working at heights, forklift, crane, dogman) desirable
