Job Title: Fleet Manager

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Fleet Manager to oversee the management and administration of our fleet. The primary focus of this role is to ensure operational efficiency, cost savings, and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the maintenance, scheduling, and utilization of the fleet to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  2. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all fleet assets, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
  3. Track the status of fleet equipment, including movements, condition, and latest information, and conduct audits as required.
  4. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations for equipment inspections, audits, testing, and maintenance.
  5. Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards, regulations, and legislation.
  6. Provide asset allocation input to the Service Delivery and Solutions & tendering teams for quoting purposes.
  7. Manage the movement of forklifts and cranes onsite related to stock movements.

Requirements

  • Trade qualification in Electrical or Electronics.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing a team, with strong leadership and motivational abilities.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Forklift License.
  • O/H Crane License.
  • HR Truck License (Desirable).
