Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Trades and Fleet Services Manager to oversee the delivery of responsive and consistent services across various trades, fleet operations, and public domain services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing infrastructure trades, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and mechanical workshop services, as well as cleaning services, public domain lighting, and contractor-led essential services such as air conditioning and fire systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and contract management plans
  • Design and lead annual operational plant maintenance programs and replacement schedules
  • Analyse fleet data to optimise performance, reduce downtime, and minimise whole-of-life costs
  • Provide strategic recommendations to support decision-making

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Ability to conceive and refine processes
