Job Description

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing Goods-To-Person automation platforms in high-output distribution centres.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Optimizing the efficiency and uptime of GTP and automation platforms to drive business success.
  • Supporting preventative maintenance activities and weekday servicing to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align labour and automation strategies for maximum impact.
  • Analyzing system and operational data to identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization.
  • Developing and implementing scalable processes across various demand periods to meet changing business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, with a strong foundation in automation systems.
  • Natural leadership qualities, including excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work comfortably in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with automation systems is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and clear communication to drive business outcomes.
