The clinical care manager plays a key leadership role in our facility, located on the Northern Beaches at Peter Cosgrove House, Narrabeen. This role provides clinical leadership and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the clinical and care practice, including delivering high-quality care to the community and collaborative care planning in partnership with residents and their representatives.
About the Role:- Driving a positive internal culture among team members, comprising nurses and care staff
- Ensuring clinical and care team members implement quality care and clinical governance systems and processes, aligned to the LifeCare approach
- Supporting the facility manager to ensure clinical and care labor cost-management initiatives are fully adopted within the facility
- Developing care plans, including establishing optimal lifestyle goals and compliance with aged care standards
- Leading engagement with key clinical stakeholders, including resident families, suppliers, and referring clinicians
- A current registration as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with no conditions placed upon registration
- A minimum of 5 years' postgraduate clinical experience in healthcare, aged care, or a relevant environment
- Prior experience in motivating teams, managing performance, and delivering accountabilities
- Sound financial acumen for managing budgets
- Experience managing compliance with regulatory standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
