Oncology Healthcare Professional

The ideal candidate will have excellent patient care skills, be able to effectively manage patients, and facilitate effective lines of communication with all staff. They will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice oncology nursing standards.
We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis at our clinic located in Frenchs Forest.
- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring patient's physical and psychological needs are met.
- Effectively manage the patients that are seen each day.
- Facilitate effective lines of communication with all staff and provide feedback and up-to-date information regarding patients.
- Ensure all patient interaction is documented, communicated, and actioned.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice oncology nursing standards.
- Ensure medication management protocols are followed.
- Demonstrate reliability, motivation, and flexibility.
- Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Previous experience in Radiation Oncology and/or Medical Oncology is desirable but not essential (we are happy to train the right candidate).
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers.
- Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of care.
- Commitment to and involvement in the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
